Samsung Electronics' electric and gas ranges sold in the North American market have been receiving consecutive praise from major overseas media outlets. Not only the convenience for various cooking needs but also the product's durability and smart connectivity experience are gaining popularity locally.

According to industry sources on the 8th, the U.S. leading consumer media Consumer Reports (CR) recently selected Samsung Electronics' 'Slide-In Radiant Range' (model NE63T8751SG) as the 'Best Electric Range of 2024,' ranking it first.

Consumer Reports evaluated based on six criteria: ▲maximum power performance ▲minimum power performance ▲baking ▲grill performance ▲capacity ▲ease of cleaning, and the 'Slide-In Radiant Range' received perfect scores in four categories, securing the top spot.

This product features the 'Flex Duo' function, which divides the oven interior into two separate compartments that can cook simultaneously at different temperatures as needed. It also maximizes convenience through a smart dial and SmartThings app connectivity.

Consumer Reports recommended the product, stating, "If you want a high-tech oven, consider purchasing this product." They also praised it, saying, "You can cook at two different temperatures or remove the internal partition to cook large ingredients like turkey," and "It received the highest score of very satisfied in the cooktop maximum and minimum power performance tests." They added, "You can check the status of whether the burners are on via the app on your smartphone."

Samsung Electronics' 'Freestanding Radiant Range' (model NE63A6751SS) was also ranked third in the 'Best Electric Range of 2024.' It was praised for its Flex Duo function that divides the interior into two compartments for cooking at different temperatures, convection mode, and air fry settings.

Samsung Electronics' ranges were ranked first for three consecutive years in the '2024 Home Appliance Consumer Satisfaction Evaluation' announced last month by the U.S. market research firm JD Power. JD Power surveyed satisfaction across seven categories including durability, reliability, performance, ease of use, and design, receiving the highest scores in all evaluation categories.

U.S. CBS News also selected the newly released 'Bespoke Slide-In Induction Range' (model NSI6DB990012AA) as the 'Best Range of 2024.' CBS News praised the differentiated smart features such as the 7-inch LCD touchscreen 'AI Home' built into the induction cooktop, which recommends customized recipes, and the internal camera that allows real-time monitoring of cooking scenes.

The U.S. product review specialist media Reviewed also praised this product. The outlet explained its advantages, saying, "The anti-scratch glass is more resistant to scratches and easier to clean than previous models," and "Using the SmartThings app, you can check the cooking status and issue voice commands."

U.S. IT specialist media Tom's Guide also introduced the 'Slide-In Radiant Range' (model NE63A6711SG) as the 'Best Electric Range of 2024.' Tom's Guide praised the smart features that allow meal planning and ordering necessary ingredients using the SmartThings app, as well as the convenience of setting air fry and convection functions.

Overseas media recognized not only Samsung's electric ranges but also its gas ranges as 'top products.'

Reviewed recently included Samsung Electronics' 'Slide-In Gas Range' (model NX60T8511SS) among the 'Top 5 Gas Ranges of 2024.' It was evaluated as "having five burners, providing enough space to use multiple pots and pans simultaneously, enhancing the joy of cooking," while also emphasizing its stylish stainless steel design and smart features.

Tom's Guide selected Samsung's 'Freestanding Gas Range' (model NX60A6751SS) as the 'Best Gas Range of 2024,' introducing it as "a suitable product for consumers who need a flexible oven." They praised the product's Flex Duo function and explained the selection reason, saying, "It has five burners including an oval burner for cast iron pans located in the center, and the controls are simple."
