KakaoPay Launches Pet Insurance Comparison Service

Kakao Pay announced on the 18th that it has launched a pet insurance comparison service that allows users to view insurance products for pets at a glance.

Currently, products from three companies?Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, and KB Insurance?are available. There are plans to increase partner insurance companies through further negotiations.

To use the Kakao Pay pet insurance comparison service, users must register their pet's information and issue a 'Petmily Card.'

After completing the registration of information such as gender, breed, name, and date of birth, insurance products available for subscription based on the most commonly selected conditions are displayed along with the estimated monthly premium. Subscription conditions such as premium renewal period, coverage ratio, daily coverage amount, and deductible can be freely set and changed as desired.

The pet insurance comparison service is available in the insurance section under the 'All' tab of the KakaoTalk and Kakao Pay applications.
