Preliminary Round for Daegu and Gyeongbuk Middle and High School Students: July 22-31, Final Round: August 17
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power will co-host the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Middle and High School Dance Festival 'Show Me Your Energy' with the Uljin Office of Education, Gyeongbuk Province, at 3 p.m. on August 17 in the main auditorium of Hanul Energy Farm.
The dance festival is part of the '1st Hanul ESG Cultural Festival' organized by Hanul Headquarters, aiming to raise awareness of the value of eco-friendly energy among future generations and provide an opportunity for students to showcase their artistic talents.
From July 22 to July 31, any dance team of 3 to 10 middle or high school students from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area can submit an application form and a choreography video online to register for the preliminary round.
The 12 teams selected from the preliminaries will compete in the finals on August 17, where they will take on a mission to express 'Smart Energy for the Future Generation' through dance for at least one minute and present various creative choreographies. In addition, the dance crew 'H', who appeared on Mnet's Street Girls Fighter, will participate as special judges and perform on stage.
Based on the competition results, scholarships totaling 6.8 million KRW will be awarded, including 3 million KRW for the Grand Prize (Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Award), 2 million KRW for the Gold Prize (Head of Uljin Office of Education Award), and 1 million KRW for the Silver Prize.
