Chodang University Provides Tuition Support to Students from Sinan County
Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) recently held a signing ceremony with Chodang University (President Park Jong-gu) at the county office video conference room to strengthen mutual cooperation for educational exchange and talent development.
According to the county on the 26th, this memorandum of understanding includes various areas such as mutual cooperation for the development of educational policies and projects between the two institutions, promotion of major initiatives, joint activities using facilities and equipment, and special scholarship support.

In particular, Chodang University plans to support tuition fees for 20 students from Shinan-gun annually for four years starting in 2025, which is expected to greatly benefit students in the region.
President Park Jong-gu stated, “By signing this agreement with Shinan-gun, we will provide excellent educational and research opportunities to local students.”
Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “In the current situation facing the crisis of local extinction, we will do our best to ensure that students can focus on their studies stably through cooperation between the county and the university and grow into local talents.”
It is expected that this agreement will greatly contribute to the development of the local community through mutual cooperation between the two institutions.
