5% Discount on Dongdaemun-gu Love Gift Certificates Issued in July

From 10 AM on the 4th, purchase up to 500,000 KRW per person per month with a 5% discount
Use after purchase via Seoul Pay Plus mobile application

Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) will issue Dongdaemun-gu Love Gift Certificates worth 3 billion KRW on July 4th at 10 a.m.

The gift certificates can be purchased at a 5% discount, and to allow more people to benefit, the purchase limit per person is set at 500,000 KRW per month. Each person can hold up to 1.5 million KRW.

The gift certificates can be purchased and used through the ‘SeoulPay+’ app. Users must install the upgraded ‘SeoulPay+’ app released in April this year instead of the previous SeoulPay Plus app.

After downloading the app on a smartphone, users can register as members, verify their identity, and link (register) a payment account for purchasing the gift certificates to use them.

The validity period for using the gift certificates is 5 years from the purchase date, and unused certificates can be canceled regardless of the period after purchase. If more than 60% of the purchase amount per transaction is used, the remaining balance excluding the discount amount can be refunded.

The gift certificates can be used at SeoulPay affiliated stores located in Dongdaemun-gu, including ▲supermarkets and small marts ▲beauty salons ▲kindergartens and academies. However, large supermarkets, department stores, general academic, foreign language, and arts entrance exam academies with annual sales exceeding 1 billion KRW, as well as movie theaters affiliated with large corporations and franchise directly operated stores of large and medium-sized enterprises, are excluded.
