Conflict Over Brothel Operation Escalates to Weapon Rampage... 2 Casualties

In a so-called 'bodobang' operation conflict, a stabbing rampage occurred in downtown Gwangju, resulting in one death and one injury.

The Gwangju Metropolitan City Gwangsan Police Station announced on the 8th that they have urgently arrested Kim Mo (58 years old) on charges including murder.

Kim is suspected of wielding a weapon against two men in their 40s in front of an entertainment establishment in Wolgye-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City the previous day.

One of the men stabbed was transported to the hospital and later died, while the other sustained serious injuries and is reported to be receiving treatment.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, believing that Kim, the so-called 'bodobang' operator who supplies hostesses to entertainment establishments, committed the act after a power struggle with the two victims who had recently been operating a new bodobang.
