Osan City and Giddu-rami Group Join Hands to Foster Future Talent

Signing of Business Agreement for Talent Development Scholarship Support

On the 3rd, Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it signed a business agreement with the Kiturami Group at the city hall situation room to support the Osan City Talent Development Scholarship Fund.


Attending the agreement ceremony were Nam Sang-wook, Secretary General of the Kiturami Cultural Foundation, Jang Min-gi, Head of Kiturami Southern Branch Co., Ltd., and Kim Tae-gyun, CEO of the local agency Green High Tech SS branch.

Through this agreement, the Kiturami Cultural Foundation will provide 50 million won in scholarships this year to students in the Osan area.


The Kiturami scholarship support project is a scholarship program promoted by the Kiturami Cultural Foundation, established with private funds based on the social contribution philosophy of Chairman Choi Jin-min, the founder of Kiturami Boiler, who believed that "educational opportunities should be equal for everyone." Since its establishment in 1985, the foundation has supported over 50,000 scholarship recipients with approximately 34 billion won in scholarships.


The Kiturami Group has been practicing shared management by carrying out social contribution projects worth a total of 53.3 billion won over 39 years through its public interest foundations, the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation, including scholarship projects, academic research support projects, educational institution development fund support projects, and social welfare facility support projects.


Lee Kwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, "We will create educational conditions where Osan students can study without social and economic difficulties and foster an environment where they can demonstrate their abilities in various fields to grow into future talents."
