Man Dies After Confessing to Murder; Woman's Body Found Two Days Later

A man in his 30s killed a woman of a similar age and then took his own life in Changnyeong, Gyeongnam.

According to the Changnyeong Police Station on the 1st, a man identified as A called the police around noon on the 28th of last month, saying, "I killed someone. I am turning myself in."

Responding to the report, the police found A unconscious after an apparent suicide attempt inside a car parked on a road in Changnyeong.

A was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead at around 2:30 p.m. that day.

After tracking A's movements, the police confirmed that he had gone to a mountain in Changnyeong-gun. While searching the area, they discovered the body of a woman in her 30s, identified as B, on the 30th of last month.

B is believed to have died around May 22.

The police plan to determine the exact cause and time of death through an autopsy and will investigate the motive and circumstances of the crime.
