I'Park Mall Strengthens Food and Beverage Stores... New Openings Including PF Chang's and Seorae Hambak

Active Adoption of Food Hygiene Rating System

HDC I'Park Mall announced on the 30th that I'Park Mall Yongsan Branch, operated by HDC I'Park Mall, has strengthened its food and beverage (F&B) category through the renovation marking the 4th anniversary of the opening of D7 Food Cinema.

The renewal upgrade was carried out to reinforce previously lacking categories by reflecting customer demands such as expanding new brands and strengthening the food hygiene safety system, I'Park Mall explained.

D7 is a food space introduced by I'Park Mall in February 2020 on the 7th floor of Living Park at the Yongsan branch with the concept of a "multiplex cinema with the fun of choosing." It was designed to gather about 20 F&B stores, 5 dessert popup zones, and shared tasting spaces all in one place, in line with the trend of eating and enjoying shopping.

To strengthen F&B content, I'Park Mall newly opened 'Samcheongdang,' where customers can enjoy menus like gimbap and ramen; 'Phu Buo,' featuring menus with a local Vietnamese feel; and 'Seorae Hamburg,' a hamburger steak restaurant tailored to Korean tastes. The dessert popups have also been regularized to introduce new desserts every week.

The well-known American-Chinese brand 'P.F. Chang's' also opened on the same day. Located on the 7th floor of Living Park, P.F. Chang's is decorated with a spacious 190-seat area and an interior that captures the unique mysterious charm of P.F. Chang's. It also features various-sized rooms accommodating up to 32 people. The store has a separately prepared open bar inside, offering a wide range of alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, cocktails, and gaoliang liquor.

Additionally, I'Park Mall introduced a hygiene rating system for all stores within D7 Food Cinema. Hygiene safety grade certifications are posted at store entrances or inside so that visiting customers can directly verify them. Among the 23 stores located in D7 Food Cinema, 21 received a "Very Excellent" grade in hygiene inspections conducted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the remaining 2 stores, which previously received an "Excellent" grade, plan to undergo additional evaluations in June.

Choi Yong-hwa, Executive Director of Sales at HDC I'Park Mall, said, "We upgraded D7 Food Cinema in the first half of this year based on customer feedback to create a comfortable eating environment and strengthen F&B competitiveness." He added, "Especially since food hygiene safety incidents tend to increase in summer, we will establish a safe food culture early through thorough store management and hygiene rating certification."
