President Yoon Suk-yeol said on the 27th, "It is important to faithfully implement the United Nations (UN) Security Council resolutions while striving for the denuclearization of North Korea."

At a joint press conference held after the 9th Korea-Japan-China Summit at the Blue House State Guesthouse on the same day, President Yoon explained, "To guarantee peace and stability in the region, which is a common core interest of the three countries, Korea, Japan, and China, the ultimate goal is to realize a free and peaceful unified Korean Peninsula."

Regarding North Korea's announced satellite launch on the day, President Yoon emphasized, "It is a clear violation of Security Council resolutions," and added, "The international community must respond firmly."

He continued, "We agreed that active cooperation among Korea, Japan, and China contributes not only to bilateral relations but also to promoting peace and prosperity in the region," and said, "We also reaffirmed that maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula is a shared interest and responsibility of the three countries."

Regarding the outcomes of the summit, President Yoon said, "We agreed that the driving force behind trilateral cooperation lies in the support of our peoples, and decided to expand practical cooperation that the citizens of the three countries can feel."

To this end, the leaders of Korea, Japan, and China agreed to actively promote exchanges among future generations while striving to achieve an annual human exchange of 40 million people by 2030.

In particular, they plan to designate 2025 and 2026 as the 'Years of Korea-Japan-China Cultural Exchange' to further activate human and cultural exchanges.

President Yoon explained, "We agreed to create a transparent and predictable trade and investment environment and to establish secure supply chains," adding, "Furthermore, we will cooperate and respond together to environmental issues such as air pollution, public health crises, and transnational crimes."

He added, "The three countries also agreed to expand cooperation with other countries in the region," stating, "With Mongolia, we will cooperate to reduce yellow dust, and with ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, we will seek regional joint prosperity through CAMPUS Asia, startup development, and intellectual property cooperation."
