On the 17th, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology held a meeting titled "Discussion with International Students for the Establishment of the Korean-style Community College" in the Minsuk Memorial Hall conference room, attended by over 30 participants including international students, the student council, and university officials.
During the event, participants freely exchanged opinions on the establishment of various programs and financial support measures for international students.
There was also discussion on ways for the university and students to work together to help the university establish itself as a global institution.
At the meeting, President Kim Taesang stated, "We plan to continue promoting policies through communication with students in order to establish a leading model of the 'Korean-style Community College,' which newly defines the role and value of junior colleges and provides re-education opportunities not only to international students but also to the local community and adult learners."
