KB Securities announced on the 21st that it held the 'Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping' event at Seoul Nanji Camping Site, inviting 23 vulnerable families in Seoul to celebrate Family Month in May.
The Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping began when KB Securities, together with the Seoul Future Hangang Headquarters, invited vulnerable families to the camping site to commemorate the completion of the 'KB Securities Green Growth Road,' which involved planting about 7,300 trees at Nanji Camping Site in September 2022. This year marks the third anniversary of the event.
This year's Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping took place over one night and two days from the 18th to the 19th, with a total of 23 families and 92 participants, and concluded successfully thanks to the enthusiastic support of the participating families. KB Securities provided all supplies, including tents, camping equipment, and abundant food, while the Seoul Future Hangang Headquarters cooperated in preparing the camping site and overall event management.
In particular, this year, families participating in the 'KB Securities Soccer School,' which KB Securities has been running for vulnerable children since March, were invited to join various programs and recreational activities that the whole family could enjoy, such as treasure hunts, campfires, face painting, and magic balloons, which are popular among children.
Additionally, KB Securities gifted nutritional supplements and children's backpacks as souvenirs to each family participating in the Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping.
Seonghyun Kim and Honggu Lee, CEOs of KB Securities, stated, "In celebration of Family Month in May, we prepared an event where families can feel warmth together," adding, "We will continue various social contribution activities that strengthen the bonds within our society and community as part of our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management."
