Harim-Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy Join Hands for Civil-Military Mutual Development

One Company, One Military Camp... Employment Support Education for Discharged Soldiers

Harim Co., Ltd. and the Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy announced on the 14th that they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for civil-military mutual development at the reception room of the Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.


According to Harim, the signing ceremony was attended by CEO Jeong Hoseok and Jeong Deokseong (Major General), the head of the Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, along with officials from both organizations. Both parties will engage in mutual cooperation to expand security consensus, boost troop morale, strengthen civil-military ties, and enhance the military’s social role for mutual development.

The main contents of the agreement include: ▲ The Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy will cooperate in expanding security consensus by providing military experience, security tours, and security expert lectures to Harim employees and their families ▲ Harim will offer customized economic education opportunities, support employment for discharged soldiers, and provide various educational programs including morale-boosting activities ▲ Participation in tours of Harim factories.


Harim plans to regularly invite soldiers from the Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy to the HCR (Harim Chicken Road) Tour, a factory tour program, to boost troop morale and help them understand the food industry.


Harim will introduce soldiers to its state-of-the-art slaughtering and processing system, which boasts the production of the freshest and most delicious chicken in the world. Soldiers will have a special opportunity to tour the production process of healthy and differentiated products made primarily from chicken, taste them firsthand, and experience the process.


Jeong Hoseok, CEO of Harim, said, "We appreciate the dedication of the soldiers who devote themselves to national defense and public safety," adding, "We hope that mutual cooperation activities will help boost the morale of the troops."


Meanwhile, Harim plans to continuously expand civil-government-military cooperative activities together with Jeonbuk Province, the Army Training Center, and the 7th Airborne Special Forces Brigade.
