Gyeonggi Province will hold a companion animal and plant culture experience event for two days on the 18th and 19th at the Peace Plaza of the Northern Government Complex in Uijeongbu City.
The main programs of this event include ▲'You and Me Zoo, Botanical Garden, and Insect Hall' exhibiting various companion animals and plants ▲hygiene and grooming experiences for dogs and behavioral correction consultations ▲'You and Me Small Book Chat' where visitors can borrow books related to animals and plants ▲companion animal obstacle races and magic shows ▲and a flea market for exhibiting and selling companion animal and plant supplies.
Gyeonggi Province will also conduct programs to promote respect for life and foster a proper companion animal and plant culture. This includes holding a companion animal adoption culture promotion and photo exhibition, as well as providing information on adoption conditions and promoting the establishment of an adoption culture.
At the event site, Peace Plaza, side events such as a large cat balloon photo zone, magic shows, fusion band performances, and sales booths for dog snacks, accessories, and plant supplies will be held.
When bringing companion animals, visitors must carry personal waste bags and leashes, and according to the Animal Protection Act Enforcement Rules, dangerous dogs are not allowed to enter.
