Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that the "Concert with ELF Awardees and Ulleung Residents," hosted by ELF Professional, was held over two days on the 9th and 10th at Dodong Port Small Park and Hanmaeum Hall.
This performance is an annual event designed to provide a stage where professional saxophonists and amateur performers can come together and perform.
ELF Professional, commemorating its 30th anniversary, held the 1st ELF Saxophone Contest in 2018, and this year marked the 7th ELF Saxophone Contest. Since launching the Saxophone Country Dokdo Expedition in 2011, they filmed YouTube content with the Ulleungdo Saxophone Culture Volunteer Group in July 2020, and this year, they held a saxophone concert on Ulleungdo.
At this concert, 33 pieces were performed, including "Ulleungdo Twist" by Elsamo and "Addicted Love" and "Tear" by saxophonist Andre Hwang, delivering moving performances that received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, expressed his gratitude to the ELF Production officials and performers for consistently preparing meaningful performances for residents and tourists in the culturally underserved area of Ulleungdo, and stated, "I hope that through continued strong relationships, residents will have opportunities to experience diverse cultural activities."
