‘Come back to me’ Track Image Released
Directed by Lee Seong-jin of 'Angry People' and Art Director Ryu Seong-hee of 'Decision to Leave' Participate
Group BTS member RM has revealed a track image resembling a movie poster ahead of his new release.
At midnight on the 7th (KST), RM posted the track poster for the pre-release song "Come back to me" on the team's official SNS. "Come back to me" is an indie pop track that reflects on the main theme "right and wrong" of his second solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person," set to be released on the 24th.
The track poster, designed like a movie poster, lists the names of the staff involved in the song and music video. Notably, a star-studded lineup representing the Korean film industry has joined the music video production, drawing attention.
The music video is directed, produced, and scripted by director Lee Sung-jin, who directed Netflix's "Seongnan Saramdeul" (The Angry People). Art director Ryu Seong-hee, who worked on films such as "Decision to Leave" and "Assassination," and cinematographer Kim Woo-hyung, known for "1987" and "Manchu," collaborated on the project. Actor Kim Min-ha also appears, sharing the screen with RM.
Prominent musicians participated in the song production. Oh Hyuk of the band Hyukoh produced "Come back to me," and Kuo (Guo Guo) from the Taiwanese five-member band Sunset Rollercoaster contributed guitar and bass sessions. Singer-songwriters JNKYRD and San Yawn of Barming Tiger, along with RM, who wrote the lyrics, are also credited.
RM showcased collaborations transcending boundaries of music and art with his first solo album "Indigo," released in 2022. He plans to continue breaking artistic boundaries with collaborations in his new release after one year and five months.
RM will release a teaser video for the "Come back to me" music video at midnight on the 9th, followed by the song and music video at 1 PM on the 10th. On the 24th, RM will release his second solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person," which includes a total of 11 tracks, including the pre-release song.
