A, who identified himself as a man in his 30s, said, "Two days ago, my friend and I drank two bottles of beer and four bottles of soju at a barbecue restaurant and a cooking pub in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul," adding, "My usual drinking capacity is two bottles of soju, and the only effect I have is falling into a deep sleep."

A parted ways with his friend around 10:40 p.m. that day while intoxicated. He said, "I have no memory at all due to blackout symptoms while heading alone to the subway station," and "When I came to my senses, I found myself lying alone on a chair in a Sillim nightlife establishment room around 4:40 p.m. the next day."

He added, "My credit card and phone were taken out on the table," and "When I checked the card statement, there were 13 transactions totaling 9,512,500 won."

A explained, "This was my first time visiting a nightlife establishment. The only effect I have from drinking is falling into a deep sleep," and "On that day, my family even filed a missing person report and tried to track my location because I had never stayed out overnight without contact even once. I have never been absent or late without permission at work for eight years."

Feeling bewildered, A left the room, and a man who introduced himself as the manager at the counter said, "Bro, how can you fall asleep right away when you're tired?"

Unable to understand the situation, A confronted the manager, saying, "What is this charge about? I have no memory at all. Is it reasonable to take advantage of someone who is drunk and unconscious to rack up charges like this?"

The manager responded, "Then I'll give you a discount of about 1 million won," but denied having any bill or card receipt.

According to the payment details A disclosed, 9,000 won was charged at a convenience store at 11:36 p.m. on the 2nd. About seven minutes later, 300,000 won was charged at the nightlife venue, followed by another 220,000 won 30 minutes later. Payments continued at one-hour intervals, with the highest amount being 1.5 million won. The last charge was 220,000 won at 8:36 a.m. on the 3rd.

A said, "I have no memory of the convenience store either," and "Judging by the payment amount, it seems the nightlife venue staff bought cigarettes. I was unable to secure the convenience store's CCTV footage."

A reported the incident to the police but expressed anxiety as the police did not secure closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage. Netizens suspected drug use and advised him to quickly obtain CCTV footage and report again to the police.
