On the 30th at 2 p.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the '2024 Nowon-gu Job Fair' held at Junggye Deungnamu Neighborhood Park in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The '2024 Job Fair' was organized to provide quality jobs to job seekers and offer companies opportunities to recruit talented personnel. It aims to actively extend support to the youth, who are particularly struggling due to the prolonged employment crisis, thereby expanding their employment opportunities.
Post-event support will also be provided to job seekers who participated in the fair. After the event, those not hired will receive re-matching support through individual counseling and continuous employment information.
This year, 41 outstanding companies from various fields, including Hyundai Catering System, CJ Freshway, CESCO, Bodyfriend, Kyowon Kumon, Coupang Fulfillment Service, and Amorepacific, participated. Participating companies plan to hire about 150 people through on-site interviews.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 80 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, district council members, and local residents. The ceremony proceeded in the order of opening, greetings, congratulatory speeches, commemorative photo session, and booth rounds.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "I hope this event provides an opportunity for excellent companies and talented individuals to meet and coexist, serving as a catalyst to revitalize the local economy. We will continue to implement policies that can genuinely help job seekers."
