People Power Party postpones floor leader election from next month 3rd to 9th

The election date for the next floor leader of the People Power Party has been postponed from the 3rd to the 9th of next month.

On the 30th, Yoon Jae-ok, the floor leader of the People Power Party and acting party leader, held a meeting with the party's floor leader election management committee at the National Assembly and decided on this change. Regarding the reason for the change, he stated, "At the elected members' general meeting on the 29th, there was a request to provide an opportunity for candidates to share their views and philosophies, and there were multiple similar requests to the election management committee mainly from first-term elected members. The committee held a meeting and unanimously decided to change the schedule."

Accordingly, the announcement will be made again on the 2nd of next month, candidate registration will be accepted on the 5th, followed by five days of campaigning, and the new floor leader will be elected on the 9th.
