Caring Nursing Services Contribute to Local Women's Job Creation, Awarded 'Gwangju Mayor's Commendation'

Last Year in Gwangju, 355 New Hires Including Caregivers and Social Workers

Caring, a caregiving service startup, announced on the 30th that it received a commendation from the Mayor of Gwangju for its contribution to creating jobs for women in the region at the Gwangju Metropolitan City Women’s Job Fair ‘2024 Gwangju Women JOB Festa.’


Caring was selected for the ‘Meritorious Company for Job Creation’ award, receiving high evaluations for ▲creating jobs for women in the Gwangju area ▲establishing a corporate culture favorable for women to work ▲and maintaining employment.

Last year, Caring created 355 jobs in the Gwangju area, including at the Daycare Center Seo-gu Branch and the Integrated Home Care Honam Headquarters, for caregivers, social workers, nutrition cooks, hospital escort managers, and drivers. Notably, among all employees in the Gwangju region, 291 were women, accounting for about 82%.


This year, Caring plans to open new branches in the Gwangju area, starting with the Daycare Center Nam-gu Branch, followed by Buk-gu and Dong-gu branches, which is expected to further increase the scale of local job creation. Caring aims to establish more than 100 caregiving infrastructures nationwide by 2025.


Kim Jisoo, Head of Caring Honam Headquarters, said, “We are fully committed to training professional caregiving personnel,” adding, “We will continue to expand employment for women with career interruptions and create a caregiving service environment that satisfies all members of the local community.”
