On the 27th at 1 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 'Bulamsan Sports Town Baseball Stadium Improvement Completion Ceremony' held at Bulamsan Sports Town in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The improvement project of the Bulamsan Sports Town baseball stadium was carried out through repair and maintenance work, replacing aging facilities such as artificial turf, fences, nets, and lighting.
Since the stadium is frequently used by younger age groups such as little league and youth baseball teams, the improvement project was promoted to create a safe sports facility. Construction began in February this year and was completed on April 12.
About 100 people attended the event, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, National Assembly member Kim Seong-hwan, Nowon-gu Council Chairman Kim Jun-seong, city and district council members, and related officials. The ceremony proceeded with an opening, presentation of appreciation plaques, congratulatory speeches, commemorative photos, and a ceremonial first pitch.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I hope that residents will enjoy sports activities more safely at the newly renovated Bulamsan Sports Town baseball stadium,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create a pleasant environment for community sports to promote residents’ leisure activities and health improvement.”
