Honam University Signs Exchange Agreement with Hunan University of Information Technology, China

Son Wani, Director of International Exchange at Honam University, and Zuo Quanwen, Director of the Confucius Academy on the Chinese side, along with Deputy Director Yoo Young, visited Hunan University of Information Technology located in Changsha, Hunan Province on the 16th and signed an educational exchange agreement.

During their visit to China to strengthen exchange and cooperation with overseas higher education institutions, Director Son Wani and his delegation toured the campus of Hunan University of Information Technology, including the Big Data Room, ROTC club, main auditorium, and library. Afterwards, they held a meeting with relevant officials such as Vice President Kuang Xuzhong, Director of International Exchange Liu Mipan, Head of the International Exchange Center Hu Long, and Deputy Head Chen Lizhi.

At this meeting, they discussed various programs including academic advancement programs, mutual cooperation related to joint talent cultivation, and faculty exchanges, and signed an agreement on educational exchange cooperation between the two universities.

Hunan University of Information Technology is a private university established in 1997, currently comprising 10 colleges and more than 30 departments, with approximately 20,000 students enrolled.
