Starting March 29 in Dohwa-dong, Touring 16 Neighborhoods
Woori Bank and Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation Join... Providing Management and Financial Consulting
Park Kang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, “We Will Develop Practical and Realistic Support Measures”
Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Gang-su) will operate a "Visiting Special Credit Guarantee On-site Reception Desk" from March 29 to facilitate small businesses and small merchants in the area.
The special credit guarantee is a program that supports small businesses and small merchants experiencing management difficulties due to economic recession and interest rate hikes by providing loans of up to 50 million KRW at an interest rate of 3.59~3.79% per annum (3-month CD variable rate). It is characterized by lowered application conditions without collateral for those lacking collateral ability. Mapo-gu has prepared 25 billion KRW as special credit guarantee funds this year.
The on-site reception desk will be sequentially operated in 16 neighborhoods starting with Dohwa-dong Community Center on March 29 through April, with operating hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding lunchtime (12 p.m. to 1 p.m.).
Woori Bank and Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation will also participate at the on-site reception desk to provide management and financial consulting for small merchants and self-employed individuals.
Any business located in Mapo-gu can receive loan consultations and consulting at the on-site reception desk, and on-site applications for the special credit guarantee are available for small businesses and small merchants affiliated with related local organizations (professional groups). Those not affiliated with any group can apply starting in June. However, industries restricted from loan support, such as entertainment bars and gambling facilities, are excluded from support.
Small businesses and small merchants wishing to apply for the special credit guarantee can visit the nearest on-site reception desk on its operating days regardless of their location, bringing their original and copy of ID, copy of business registration certificate, and copy of value-added tax standard certificate.
Detailed schedules and locations for the "Visiting Special Credit Guarantee On-site Reception Desk" can be found on the Mapo-gu Office website.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "We have established the visiting on-site reception desk to support small businesses and small merchants who find it difficult to take time off for their livelihoods," and added, "Mapo-gu will continue to prepare more practical and realistic support measures to be a source of strength when small merchants face difficulties."
