[Hot Interview] Yeongdeungpo-gap Heo Eun-ah "Complete Relocation of the National Assembly? Election Pledge... Similar to the 250,000 Won Livelihood Support Fund"

First Campaign Visit to Yeongdeungpo Fire Station
Daily Attacks on Jukok: "Undermining Fair Competition"

The Reform New Party, a third-party force, visited the Yeongdeungpo Fire Station in Seoul as their first official campaign event. Heo Eun-ah, the Reform New Party candidate running in this district (Yeongdeungpo-gu Gap), criticized both the People Power Party's pledge to fully relocate the National Assembly and the Democratic Party's pledge for livelihood recovery support funds, saying, "We must judge the two-party politics."

Why did you choose the Yeongdeungpo Fire Station in Seoul as the first campaign location?

The Reform New Party said it pursues politics that cares for the lives of the people. The foundation of caring for people's lives is protecting life and property. Until now, politicians have habitually expressed that they will protect the lives of the people, but we visited the Yeongdeungpo Fire Station to show the determination unique to the Reform New Party. We met with firefighters to hear what institutional support is needed and made a promise to keep our pledges.

You emphasized the clarity of conservatism.

Above all, the value of conservatism is fair competition and creating a better tomorrow than today. My father sold fruit in Yeongdeungpo and raised me in a one-room apartment. However, I was able to go to university and start a business based solely on diligence and was recognized. We will continue to emphasize these values.

Recently, you have been targeting Jo Guk, the leader of the Jo Guk Reform Party, through social networking services (SNS) day after day.

Leader Jo is someone who has destroyed the value of fair competition. He shook the very ladder that allows upward mobility. The low approval rating among people in their 20s stems from this. Such a person should not become a member of the National Assembly. That is why I believe we must criticize Leader Jo every day.

Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, pledged to fully relocate the National Assembly to Sejong City.

The relocation of the National Assembly to Sejong was a pledge made by both ruling and opposition parties in the last presidential election. Then it is right to proceed. If Yeouido, which is subject to development regulation restrictions, changes, Yeongdeungpo will also have an opportunity to transform. However, now is the stage to concretize the relocation of the National Assembly. Proposing such an important pledge suddenly with little time left before the election can only be seen as an election pledge. It is similar to the '250,000 KRW livelihood recovery support fund' proposed by Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party.

How will you conduct the election during the remaining 13 days?

I want to show the history that justice prevails. For that, the people must take action. I hope the people will judge the opportunistic two-party politics that is rampant.
