Second Career Win in 9 Years at Valspar Championship

In the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 24th (local time), he earned 1.5966 points, soaring 119 spots from 184th last week. He accumulated points by winning the PGA Tour Valspar Championship (total prize money $8.4 million), which concluded at the Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course (par 71, 7,340 yards) in Palm Harbor, Florida, USA. This is his second career win in nine years since his victory at the 2015 Sanders Farms Championship, with a winner's prize of $1,512,000 (approximately 2 billion KRW).


There were no changes in the 'Top 10.' Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Jon Rahm (Spain), Wyndham Clark, and Xander Schauffele (both USA) maintained their positions from 1st to 5th. For Korea, Kim Joo-hyung is 22nd, Im Sung-jae 37th, An Byeong-hun 42nd, and Kim Si-woo 45th. Lee Kyoung-hoon, who performed well with a tie for 9th place at the Valspar Championship, moved up just one spot from 90th to 89th.
