Samsung Electronics announced on the 15th that it will participate in 'AWE (Appliance & Electronics World Expo) 2024' held in Shanghai, China until the 17th (local time), showcasing locally customized Bespoke home appliances and TV lineups.
AWE is one of the world's top three home appliance and electronics industry exhibitions. Samsung Electronics has prepared an exhibition hall of approximately 1,640㎡ at the New International Expo Center, allowing visitors to experience ▲Bespoke refrigerators ▲Bespoke washing machines ▲Micro LED ▲Neo QLED.

The Bespoke home appliances Samsung Electronics is unveiling at this AWE are characterized by a slim exterior design tailored to the structure of local Chinese homes while enhancing internal usability.
The new China-targeted 'Bespoke Refrigerator' is designed with a depth of 600mm to fit the average size of kitchen cabinets in China and is a 'Zero Gap Kitchen Fit' product that can be installed leaving only 4mm of space on the left and right and 9mm at the top. Inside the refrigerator, there is a 'Dry & Moist Box' for storing nuts, tea leaves, grains, etc., at low humidity, and a 'Moisture Box' for keeping vegetables and fruits fresh at high humidity. Additionally, the triple independent cooling function allows ingredients to be stored without worrying about odor mixing, and the customized storage compartment can switch between six temperature modes, including tea leaves and nuts, tailored to Chinese consumers' food culture.
The new product is a Grade 1 energy efficiency model, and by using the 'AI Saving Mode' of 'SmartThings,' energy consumption can be further reduced by up to 10%. Moreover, it features an 'Auto Open Door' function, enabling easy access to contents even when both hands are full.
Samsung also introduces the 2024 model 'Bespoke Washing Machine' lineup, which maintains the same external size but has a larger internal drum. The China-targeted Bespoke washing machine new product has increased the internal drum size by 16% compared to previous models, achieving a washing capacity of 12kg. It also features an 'AI Customized Course' that detects the weight, dirtiness, and dryness of laundry to adjust washing and drying times accordingly with AI functionality. Furthermore, a 7-inch color LCD screen is installed on the front of the product for convenient touch operation of various courses.
Alongside these, a wide range of 2024 Samsung TVs, including Micro LED, Neo QLED 8K, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, were exhibited.
The Micro LED lineup was unveiled in various sizes such as 114-inch, 101-inch, 89-inch, and 76-inch models. The 2024 Neo QLED 8K, equipped with the 3rd generation AI 8K processor, includes AI technologies such as '8K AI Upscaling Pro,' which upscales low-resolution videos to 8K quality; 'AI Motion Enhancer Pro,' which sharpens object movements; and 'Active Voice Amplifier Pro,' which analyzes voices and background sounds to provide clearer audio.
Using three 98-inch TVs, Samsung created a private home theater-like environment, showcasing the best home entertainment experience by linking with the 2024 Samsung soundbar equipped with AI algorithms. Additionally, the exhibition zone featured the 'Music Frame,' a customized frame-shaped speaker first introduced at CES, satisfying both visual and auditory senses. The 2024 model The Frame, which was the first display to receive the 'Artful Color Validated' certification from Pantone, was also exhibited.
