This training, held a total of 13 times from March to May, targets about 60 production managers from partner companies in the Mokpo and Yeongam areas and is designed to support the reduction of quality failure costs through quality improvement.
Quality experts from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries will serve as instructors, providing systematic content that enables participants to acquire and apply practical professional knowledge necessary for their work, including quality and precision control of ship blocks, issues and countermeasures in outfitting installation, and quality management techniques. Separate rewards are also planned for outstanding trainees.
Shim Hak-moo, Executive Director of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, stated, "The quality of partner companies directly affects the cost competitiveness of the parent shipbuilding company," and added, "We are striving for mutual growth with local partner companies."
The training organizers plan not to conclude this training as a one-time event but to gather various opinions from trainees afterward to develop a more substantial program.
