Recruitment of 140 Households for 10 Free Service Sessions
Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) is continuously recruiting 140 households who wish to use the 'Seoul-type Household Service' until June 30th this year. The 'Seoul-type Household Service' is a project that supports work-life balance by assisting with household chores for pregnant women, dual-income families, and families with multiple children.
Once selected as a user, a housekeeping manager visits the applicant's home and provides household services such as cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing for 4 hours per session, totaling 10 sessions free of charge. However, services such as organizing closets, cooking, elderly or child care, pet-related services, move-in cleaning, and services requiring special or professional qualifications are excluded.
Applicants must meet the criteria of residing within the district and have a median income of 150% or less (based on health insurance premium payment). For 'pregnant women households,' applicants must be pregnant or within one year after childbirth; for 'dual-income families,' both spouses must work at least 20 hours per week; and for 'families with multiple children,' there must be two or more minor children (under 18 years old) as of the announcement date.
Households experiencing a caregiving gap due to disabilities or illnesses of the applicant or family members will be given priority support. Applications can be submitted online through Family Seoul or the Seoul-type Household Service website until June 30th. At this time, applicants must check and attach the required documents for each support category.
Jongno-gu plans to review qualifications and priority status after receiving applications and select users accordingly. The selection results will be individually notified via text message.
