The Gijang-gun Daycare Center Association has been collecting daily necessities from daycare children, parents, and childcare staff and donating them to Jeonggwan-eup over 15 sessions since April last year. This time, they gathered and delivered 31 boxes of daily necessities for vulnerable groups in the area.
Song Young-jong, head of Jeonggwan-eup, said, “The relay donation by the Gijang-gun Daycare Center Association, which started in April last year, has already reached its 15th event. We are grateful for the continued support this year as well, and we will make special efforts to ensure that the donated items are well delivered to low-income residents facing difficulties during the winter, helping them have a warm Lunar New Year filled with neighborly affection.”
The donated goods will be distributed through the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center to low-income vulnerable residents and those in welfare blind spots living in the area.
