National Pukyong University was selected in 2020 for the fine dust specialization graduate school project, which is led by the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute to train master's and doctoral level experts in fine dust management. The university was also selected for the second phase of the project last year and will continue additional projects until 2025, aiming to cultivate industry-tailored professionals for fine dust management by operating specialized educational programs in fine dust reduction, management and measurement, modeling, and remote monitoring.
