Inspire Achieves 5-Star Hotel Rating

The Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, which opened on Yeongjongdo Island in Incheon, recently announced that it has obtained a 5-star hotel rating. The hotel rating evaluation managed by the Korea Tourism Association Central Council is granted after a strict review based on facility quality, hygiene, and service level. The highest rating, 5 stars, is awarded to hotels that provide top-level facilities and services. Inspire is currently operating a hotel consisting of three towers through a soft opening, along with MICE facilities, directly managed restaurants, Korea’s first multipurpose arena, and the state-of-the-art digital entertainment street 'Aurora.' In the first quarter of this year, a foreigner-only casino and the complex cultural space 'Inspire Mall,' which combines shopping, dining, and entertainment, are scheduled to open. In the second quarter, plans include an outdoor experiential entertainment park, a uniquely themed large-scale international food court, Korea’s largest immersive content exhibition hall, and indoor children’s play facilities.

Norangpungseon Reports 50% Increase in Overseas Package Reservations During Lunar New Year Holiday Compared to Last Year

Analyzing its own reservation data, Norangpungseon announced that the number of customers traveling on overseas package tours during this year’s Lunar New Year holiday increased by about 50% compared to the same period last year. By region, Hokkaido, Japan accounted for about 30% of total reservations, ranking first. Following were Kyushu, Japan; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand; and Osaka, Japan, which also attracted interest. Norangpungseon is also running a 'Lunar New Year Holiday Seat Reservation' promotion to help customers planning trips during the holiday secure airline seats in advance so they can focus on preparing for their travels without worrying about seating.

Legoland Selected as a 'Family-Friendly Company' Certified by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

Legoland Korea Resort announced that it has obtained the 'Family-Friendly Company' certification administered by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. This certification is awarded to companies that have established excellent family-friendly management systems and operate family-friendly policies exemplarily, actively supporting employees’ work-life balance and quality of life through on-site and document evaluations. Thirteen items are assessed, including top management’s interest and commitment, utilization rate of flexible working hours, male employees’ use of parental leave, and operation of family participation programs. Legoland received high scores in 10 of these items. Additionally, it operates various family-friendly policies and programs for employees, such as upcycling eco-friendly classes and encouragement of maternity leave.

Seoul Dragon City Obtains HACCP Certification

Seoul Dragon City has obtained the 'HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)' certification from EHC, a private food safety certification organization in Australia. HACCP is a hygiene management system designed to prevent biological, chemical, and physical hazards that may occur during food manufacturing and processing. Seoul Dragon City acquired HACCP certification for seven food and beverage establishments, including kitchen areas.
