KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters and Doya F&B announced on the 14th that they signed a business agreement on the 11th to cooperate in the digital transformation (DX) of the food service industry.
Both organizations plan to actively promote the introduction of KT's 'HiOrder,' a table unmanned ordering system, targeting 340 franchise stores nationwide, including Doya Jjamppong and Doya Jokbal, as well as stores scheduled to open.
HiOrder is a premium table order service that allows customers seated at their tables to select menu items, place orders, and make payments immediately through a tablet provided at the seat.
It is considered an alternative that not only enhances customer convenience but also reduces labor costs and recruitment difficulties from the store operation perspective.
Additionally, since store staff can focus on cooking and other customer services instead of order reception and payment, an overall improvement in service quality is also expected.
In fact, Doya Jjamppong Jeju Oedo branch and Ulsan Yaeum directly managed branch, which have already introduced and are utilizing HiOrder, are experiencing increased store operation efficiency and faster turnover, leading to sales growth.
Jang Seong-rok, CEO of Doya F&B, said, “We will actively introduce KT HiOrder and promote digital transformation of franchise stores so that customers visiting Doya Jjamppong, Doya Jokbal, and other stores can have a more convenient service experience.”
Kim Yong-nam, Executive Director of KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Corporate Customer Headquarters, stated, “We promise to provide differentiated products and services, support promotion to help advance Doya F&B’s franchise business, and do our best to lead the digital transformation of the food service industry.”
