POSCO E&C announced on the 29th that all 1,401 units of 'The Sharp Uijeongbu Station Link City,' being built in the Uijeongbu-dong area of Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi Province, have been sold out.
The complex, which held official contracts over four days starting from the 27th of last month, recently completed 100% contracts through preliminary winner selection and non-ranking/first-come-first-served contracts.
The complex is being constructed as part of the Camp LaGuardia urban development project, and approximately 30,000㎡ of parkland will be created alongside due to the return of land previously used by the U.S. military, providing a pleasant environment. Public offices and other convenience facilities are also planned to be developed. It is within walking distance of Uijeongbu Station on Subway Line 1, and Hongseon Station on the Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit is also nearby. The suburban line connecting Neunggok Station to Uijeongbu is planned, and once the GTX C Line opens, it will be possible to reach Seoul Samsung Station in just five stops.
The head of sales at POSCO E&C said, "Despite the challenging real estate market, the development benefits of the metropolitan area express train (GTX) C Line and the differentiated product quality of 'The Sharp' brand, which meets the expectations of real demand in the northeastern metropolitan area, seem to have positively influenced the contracts," adding, "As it has risen to become a leading property representing the northeastern metropolitan area beyond Uijeongbu, we will do our best to present a high-quality apartment that meets expectations."
