Gwangju University Wins Grand Prize in Private University Management Improvement Best Practices Contest

Gwangju University won the Grand Prize at the '2023 Private University Management Improvement Best Practices Contest.'

The contest, jointly hosted by the Korea Private School Promotion Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) and the Ministry of Education, was held to discover exemplary cases of management improvement and to promote an autonomous and sound financial management culture in universities.

At the awards ceremony held on the 26th at the kasfo hall on the first floor of the Korea Private School Promotion Foundation headquarters in Daegu Metropolitan City, Gwangju University submitted the case of 'University ESG-based Administrative Process Improvement' in the field of financial management and improvement, receiving the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Award.

The excellent cases discovered through this contest will be published and distributed as a casebook so that other universities can utilize and adopt them for management improvement, and will be used as basic data for the establishment and support of private university policies.
