V and RM Enlist, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga Return from Leave to See Them Off
Jimin and Jungkook Enlist in the 5th Division on the 12th
Full Group Activities Expected After June 2025
Group BTS members RM and V enlisted today (the 11th), with Jimin and Jungkook scheduled to enlist on the 12th. With this, all BTS members will have fulfilled their military service obligations.

On the 11th, RM and V entered the Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, without any separate events. On the 12th, Jimin and Jungkook will enlist at the same location. Jimin and Jungkook are expected to join the Army's 5th Division, where Jin is serving as a drill instructor at the recruit training center.
To see off RM and V, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who are currently fulfilling their military duties, took leave and visited the site.
Earlier, on the 10th, RM shared his thoughts on the fandom platform Weverse, saying, "I was so happy to live as BTS for the past 10 years," and added, "I believe this period will be unfamiliar and a time of new inspiration and learning for all of us." He continued, "Goodbye for a while," and greeted fans with, "Wherever and whenever, let's be ourselves! See you in the future."
V also posted on Weverse on the 10th, just before enlisting, saying, "The hardest thing is not being able to see ARMY (BTS fandom)," and added, "I will come back much healthier after the long 18 months, so ARMY, please take care of your health and find happiness every day. Then I'll suddenly appear saying, 'Ta-da! I'm back!'" He continued, "I have prepared various things during those 18 months. Please look forward to it," and added, "As we always have, let's make precious memories again when I return."
V also gave a message of encouragement to Jungkook, who is enlisting on the 12th. After shaving his head and appearing shirtless in a video call, V said, "Hyung, I'll go in first. Be careful when you go in tomorrow."
The post also featured Jin, the eldest member who enlisted first among the members and is currently serving as a drill instructor, creating a warm scene. Jin joked with V, saying, "When I enlisted, it was minus 35 degrees Celsius with a snowstorm blowing fiercely, and I barely managed to enlist. You're enlisting at a good time. The world has gotten better."
The expected discharge date for RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook is June 2025. Following Jin's enlistment in December last year, J-Hope enlisted as an active-duty soldier in April. Suga has been serving as a social service agent since September. Their agency, Big Hit Music, explained that BTS's full-group activities will likely resume after 2025.
