Visit to Army Missile Strategy Command, Orders "Immediate Operation"
Minister of National Defense Shin Won-sik visited the Army Missile Strategy Command and instructed, "Maintain a constant state of readiness to immediately operate world-class long-range, ultra-precision, and high-power missiles upon mission assignment."
On the 8th, Minister Shin said at the event, "The Missile Strategy Command is a core unit of the 'Korean-style 3-axis system' and a strategic force with overwhelming power against the enemy," adding, "Respond firmly to enemy provocations based on the principle of 'Immediate, Strong, and Final' (즉·강·끝: immediately, strongly, and to the end)."
The Korean-style 3-axis system is a concept that combines the kill chain, which detects enemy missile launch signs in advance and eliminates them before launch, with the Korean Air and Missile Defense (KAMD) system and the Korean Massive Punishment and Retaliation (KMPR) system.
Minister Shin also emphasized training. He stated, "You must develop weapon system operation skills through repeated practice to enable immediate and accurate firing," and stressed, "Although enemy provocation types may vary, your role is solely to deliver fatal strikes to the enemy's heart and head."
