Yu Dong-gyu, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation and a key witness in the 'Daejang-dong scandal,' was involved in an accident where his car collided with a large cargo truck and was transported to a hospital.
According to the police on the 6th, the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 5th on the Bongdam-Gwacheon Urban Expressway in Bugok-dong, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi Province, where the passenger car carrying former head Yu collided with a 5-ton cargo truck.
The cargo truck hit the car carrying former head Yu from behind, causing the vehicle to rotate 180 degrees and crash into the central divider.

At the time, the car was reportedly driven by a substitute driver. Former head Yu was seated in the back seat, and it is understood that there were no other passengers besides him and the substitute driver.
Former head Yu, who was injured in the accident, complained of headaches and back pain and was taken to a nearby hospital. It is reported that his life is not in danger.
