Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 30th that it held a coffee truck event for the employees of ‘K-Water Technology’ and ‘Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute,’ who manage their retirement pensions through the company.
The coffee truck prepared by Korea Investment & Securities stayed all day on the 27th in front of the two companies, providing various beverages and snacks free of charge to the employees. Since the beginning of this year, Korea Investment & Securities has been continuously conducting events targeting about 2,500 employees from 12 companies, including Kia Motors Sohari Plant, LG Display Paju Plant, Daesung Energy Daegu Headquarters, and Korail Tourism Development. By the end of the year, they plan to visit 14 more companies to deliver messages of gratitude and encouragement.
Hong Deok-gyu, Head of the Retirement Pension Division, said, "We prepared this event to share warm feelings with office workers working across the country," adding, "We plan to increase communication with client companies using various channels in the future."
Korea Investment & Securities is also expanding the range of services for companies enrolled in retirement pensions. They regularly hold seminars for companies on retirement pension management strategies. They offer various solutions utilizing pension assets, such as establishing an in-house loan system linked to the retirement pension collateral setting service.
