[Special Stock] OpenNol, Ministry of Justice Activates Foreigners' Settlement in Korea... AI-Based Education for Immigrant Workers

OpenNol is gaining strength. The news that it provides education for the increasing number of immigrant workers is interpreted as influencing its stock price. The Ministry of Justice plans to finalize the detailed criteria for region-specific visas within this year to settle outstanding talents such as foreign international students and their families in Korea, and to implement it from next year. The Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to expand the scale of E-9 visa personnel introduction next year, expecting 165,000 foreign workers to enter the country.


As of 10:12 AM on the 24th, OpenNol was traded at 10,240 KRW, up 540 KRW (5.57%) compared to the previous trading day.


OpenNol, which operates the youth employment and startup career & recruitment platform 'MiniIntern,' has been running domestic settlement cultural education for foreign workers since its early establishment. Based on this experience, OpenNol is ready to provide education for the increasing immigrant workers.


According to OpenNol, after internalizing core technology for personalized services through AI competency evaluation, it identified that people from Singapore and Uzbekistan have needs regarding labor and startup immigration to Korea. They plan to promote open collaboration for domestic market entry.


OpenNol offers the employment-linked platform 'MiniIntern' based on education, through which it plans to provide diverse and flexible services linking job training, retraining, and recruitment for immigrant workers in Korea, combining education and employment. In particular, it also has a strategy to enter the global education market.


Kwon In-taek, CEO of OpenNol, said, "Since the establishment, we have been conducting AI-based job tasks for foreign international student interns and providing education and culture necessary for their adaptation to Korea." He added, "OpenNol has expanded its business from education for foreign immigrant workers to digital transformation, and we will continue to collaborate steadily with partner companies aiming for global market entry."
