Noru Group announced on the 9th that its chairman, Han Young-jae, has joined the eco-friendly campaign "Single-Use Products Zero Challenge" hosted by the Ministry of Environment.
Started in February this year, this challenge is a promotional activity aimed at reducing the use of single-use products and encouraging the use of reusable products under the premise that "anyone can easily practice carbon neutrality in daily life." Participants post photos or videos on social media (SNS) showing the numbers "1" and "0" expressed with their hands, symbolizing "not using single-use products," and then nominate the next participants.
Chairman Han joined the campaign after being nominated by Kim Young-jin, chairman of Handok. He nominated Oh Chang-hee, CEO of Sebang Travel, and Ham Shin-ik, CEO of Symphony Song, as the next challengers.
Noru Group is actively promoting the replacement of existing plastic containers with eco-friendly biodegradable materials and the development of advanced future materials such as eco-friendly and bio-based coatings to respond to climate change and practice carbon neutrality.
