An event commemorating Small Business Owners Day will be held under the slogan 'Cheer up, Small Business Owners! Busan Smiles Together with Small Business Owners!'

On the 8th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the '2nd Busan Metropolitan City Small Business Owners Day Commemoration Event' will take place in the first-floor lobby and auditorium of City Hall.

This event will be divided into a commemorative ceremony and side events. The commemorative ceremony is hosted by the Busan Small Business Owners Association, and the side events are organized by the Association and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency. Busan City is sponsoring the event.

'Small Business Owners Day' has been designated as a legal commemorative day on November 5th every year since 2006 to improve the social status of small business owners and enhance relations with local residents.

In Busan, annual commemorative events have been held since 2022, starting with the 1st Busan Small Business Owners Day Commemoration Event.

The Busan Small Business Owners Association, which is hosting this event, is a legally recognized economic organization representing small business owners in Busan. It leads efforts to revitalize the local economy by promoting various support projects for small business owners, such as tax consultations and medical service support.

At the commemorative event, the Small Business Owners Day ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in the first-floor auditorium of City Hall, proceeding in the order of ▲ Commendation for contributors to the revitalization of small business owners ▲ Pledge of cooperation for the revitalization of small business owners ▲ Performance praying for the hosting of the 2030 Busan World Expo.

About 700 people, including Mayor Park Hyung-jun, Superintendent of Education Ha Yun-su, Chairman Choi Song-hoe of the Small Business Owners Association, Director Kim Il-ho of the Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, as well as members of 16 branches of the Busan Small Business Owners Association and small business owners, are expected to attend.

The side events will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of City Hall, open to citizens.
