Visit to Envirotec
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced that Chairman Kim Jong-ho visited Enbiotech, a life science equipment manufacturing company located in Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, on the 7th to listen to the difficulties faced on site.
Enbiotech is a venture and Inno-Biz company that manufactures stem cell incubators and incubators for developing stem cell therapeutics. It has maintained high sales growth every year through top-level technology in the life science equipment field and expanded exports, and was selected as a Global Small Giant Company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups last year.
Kibo highly evaluated Enbiotech's technological capabilities and growth potential, supporting R&D special guarantees necessary for technology development in May this year, and has continued active support by selecting it as a Stage 2 company of the 'BIRD Program,' an R&D-linked loan product.
Through this visit, Kibo listened to opinions on difficulties and regulatory resolution measures arising from technology development, product sales, and overseas exports, and agreed to work on regulatory innovation together with expert committee members from the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development who attended the meeting.
Chairman Kim said, "We will spare no effort to provide multifaceted support so that innovative technology companies in the super-gap future strategic industry sector can scale up to become strong companies," adding, "Especially in the life science equipment industry, where competition to dominate the global market is fierce, we will also strive to resolve unreasonable regulations that hinder technology development and investment."
