This route is Jeju Air's seventh new route this year and marks the first regular service to Dalat by a Korean carrier. Jeju Air is launching a new route to Vietnam for the first time in four years since starting service to Phu Quoc in November 2019. The airline operates seven routes to six Vietnamese cities including Incheon-Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Busan-Da Nang, making it the Korean carrier with the most routes to Vietnam.

Dalat is located on the central highlands of Vietnam and enjoys a mild climate year-round, earning it the nicknames "City of Eternal Spring" and "City of Flowers." Recently, it was ranked as the most popular travel destination predicted for 2024 in a survey conducted by the global flight search platform Skyscanner.
