This will be followed by a panel discussion to discuss adaptation policies being promoted in various fields such as land, forestry, and marine, as well as future adaptation strategies.

The subsequent panel discussion will focus on scientific solutions and policy directions to respond to abnormal climate in the near future due to the marine climate crisis.

President Kang Do-hyung said, "Although changes in the marine environment such as sea level rise and ocean acidification are intensifying due to climate change, the ocean remains the foundation of our economy and life," adding, "I hope this policy forum will present leading roles and measures to respond to the marine climate crisis from various perspectives."
