Yoon Gun-young, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea and considered the "right-hand man" of former President Moon Jae-in, criticized the report that the Board of Audit and Inspection is reviewing whether to conduct an audit on the 'September 19 Inter-Korean Military Agreement' made during the Moon Jae-in administration, saying it "has crossed the line."
On the 30th, Yoon said on his social media (SNS), "It is unreasonable for the Board of Audit and Inspection to scrutinize even state secrets."

Earlier, the Republic of Korea Reserve Generals Association (Daesujang) filed a public interest audit request regarding the September 19 agreement, and in response to reports that the Board of Audit and Inspection is reviewing the audit request, Yoon said, "It has been excessive and over the top so far, but now they say they will even stir up the inter-Korean agreement," adding, "The Board of Audit and Inspection crossed the line a long time ago, but now that they have crossed it, they cannot distinguish heaven from earth." Yoon had previously criticized the Board of Audit and Inspection for sending an inquiry to former President Moon regarding the West Sea public official shooting incident.
He said, "The September 19 military agreement that the Board of Audit and Inspection is trying to examine under the pretext of a 'public interest audit request' is an agreement between North and South Korea," adding, "Anything beyond the already disclosed contents of the agreement is clearly a state secret to anyone who sees it. Do they intend to see not only inter-Korean relations but also the contents of diplomatic negotiations?"
Yoon said, "In negotiations between countries, there are countless issues before the final outcome is reached, and it is impossible to fully realize our interests in every issue. Sometimes, giving up one thing to gain another is the basic principle of diplomacy," adding, "So what exactly do they intend to audit and criticize, and based on what standards?"
He said, "If that is the case, can the Park Geun-hye administration's comfort women negotiations also be examined just by filing a public interest audit request? Should the humiliating 'South Korea-U.S.-Japan Joint Statement' of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration also be audited?" adding, "No matter how much they have crossed the line, I hope they do not use inter-Korean relations as a tool for political strife."
