Iruda, a specialized company in skin beauty medical devices, announced on the 30th that it has obtained certification for its flagship product, 'Reepot,' from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).
Reepot is a medical device that applies 'VSLS® technology' to a 532㎚ wavelength Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser source. It incorporates key core technologies such as the contact cooling method CPTL®, cooling control technology, and AutoDerm® image processing technology.
After a successful launch in Korea, Reepot received product approval from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in April last year. In September last year, it also obtained approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Through domestic and international certifications, the product's safety and quality have been proven, as well as trust in product development secured.
An Iruda official stated, "With the SFDA certification for Reepot, we plan to further strengthen our presence in the Middle East region," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide innovative and excellent medical services to customers in the Middle East by utilizing a diverse product lineup, including the high-frequency medical device Thor, which received SFDA certification last month."
