Prototype Production through Advanced Startup Training

Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a session for trainees to directly create prototypes to realize their startup ideas through an advanced startup education program conducted at the ‘Goryeong-gun Job and Youth Startup Support Center’ since July 26.

Goryeong-gun, "My Idea Becoming an Actual Product?" ... One Step Closer to Startup Prototype products created through the 'Goryeong-gun Job and Youth Startup Support Center' advanced startup training program.

This advanced education program is part of the startup education programs run by the ‘Goryeong-gun Job and Youth Startup Support Center.’ It reflected the demand for prototype production mainly from those who wished to create prototypes among the basic startup education participants in early July. A total of 11 items were produced, selected as vinegar, oil, and fermented liquor using local agricultural products.

Specifically, the items include ▲Seoktanju made from grains ▲Goryeong Strawberry Liquor ▲Ugok Watermelon Liquor ▲Dasan Blueberry Liquor ▲Rice Vinegar ▲Strawberry Vinegar ▲Watermelon Vinegar ▲Blueberry Vinegar, and cooking oils such as ▲Herb (Rosemary·Basil) Oil ▲Goryeong Onion Oil ▲Chili Garlic Oil, totaling 11 types.

A trainee who participated in the prototype production education said, “I wanted to produce secondary processed products using agricultural products I produced after returning to farming, and through this course, my vague ideas became reality. It really feels like something tangible in my hands, which was very helpful.” He added, “I hope such education and support continue, and I feel proud to have settled in Goryeong-gun.”

Notably, this year’s startup education program was organized organically in three stages, not ending with simple one-time basic theory education. It included a ‘prototype production’ process where startup items discovered in the basic education were directly produced, and an ‘online marketing education’ process where participants could directly experience live commerce sales and YouTube filming and uploading in line with recent digital marketing trends. This provided a one-stop program covering everything from concretizing startup ideas to product creation and online marketing.

County Governor Lee Nam-chul said, “I am pleased that we were able to help residents who wish to start businesses get their ideas on track for actual operations.” He added, “Through the ‘Goryeong-gun Job and Youth Startup Support Center,’ we will continue to provide generous, systematic support so that residents considering startups can begin with expertise in any field.”
