A faculty startup company at Pukyong National University is attracting attention by securing consecutive research and development (R&D) investment funds from various support organizations for its AI-based trade automation platform.
Pukyong National University announced that the faculty startup company 'Team Reboot' has secured at least 1.1 billion KRW in R&D support funds from institutions such as the Busan IT Promotion Agency, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Busan Technopark.
Since its founding in June, Team Reboot is an IT company developing an AI-powered trade automation platform and office automation solutions.
Recently, the company was selected for the Busan Digital Innovation Hub Industry-Academia-Research-Industry R&BD Support Project with 500 million KRW and the Information Security Convergence Business Model Discovery Project with 25 million KRW by the Busan IT Promotion Agency.
Additionally, it was selected for the U-TECH Valley Project with 300 million KRW by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and the Technology Introduction Support Project for Local Industry-Academia Collaboration with 10 million KRW by Busan Technopark, receiving a total investment of 1.1 billion KRW.
Professor Choi Seong-cheol, CEO of Team Reboot, said, "We will do our best to contribute to the development of the local industry to repay the great interest from the region."
He added, "The trade automation platform currently under development is expected to bring innovative changes to the trade and office ecosystem, and the AI-based service will provide new vitality to the startup and deep tech ecosystem in the Busan area."
