Results of Pre-Order Sales by the Three Major Mobile Carriers Revealed
Among customers who purchased the Apple iPhone 15 series through the three major mobile carriers, three out of four were from the 2030 generation. Preference for the Pro models exceeded half, and the sales proportion of the base model also increased due to higher official subsidies.

SK Telecom disclosed the results of the iPhone 15 series pre-order sales conducted on its official online mall, T Direct Shop, on the 13th. The company analyzed, "About 44% of customers were in their 20s, and about 33% were in their 30s," adding, "Overall, young customers showed a strong preference for the iPhone."
In terms of models, the Pro models were most preferred, followed by similar levels of Pro Max and the base model. This is attributed to the increased official subsidies for the base model.
More than half of the customers who purchased the Pro and Pro Max chose White Titanium and Natural Titanium colors, while Pink and Blue were popular choices for the Plus and base models. Male buyers slightly outnumbered female buyers, but the difference was not significant.
KT reported a slight increase in iPhone pre-order sales compared to the previous year.
While the proportion of Pro and Pro Max models remained high, the company stated that sales of the Pro Max slightly increased compared to the previous generation. In terms of colors, Natural Titanium and White Titanium were popular for the Pro and Pro Max, while Pink and Blue were favored for the base and Plus models.

In LG Uplus’s iPhone 15 series pre-order sales, there was a concentration on the Pro and Pro Max models. The iPhone 15 Pro accounted for 51%, exceeding half, and the Pro Max accounted for 26%.
The base model recorded 19%, and the Plus model 4%. Among the Pro and Pro Max buyers, many preferred Natural Titanium (45%), followed by White Titanium (28%), Black Titanium (17%), and Blue Titanium (10%).
The iPhone 15 base and Plus models were tallied in the order of Pink (38%), Blue (28%), Black (22%), Green (6%), and Yellow (6%).
Earlier, Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 series and new products such as the Apple Watch on the 12th of last month (local time), and pre-orders were accepted domestically through the three major carriers from the 6th to the 11th of this month.
The prices start from 1.25 million KRW for the base model, 1.35 million KRW for the Plus, 1.555 million KRW for the Pro, and 1.9 million KRW for the Pro Max.
The official subsidies from the three carriers vary by plan, ranging from 45,100 KRW to 450,000 KRW for the iPhone 15 base model, and from 50,000 KRW to 240,000 KRW for the iPhone 15 Plus, Pro, and Pro Max.
