On the 4th, Jaseng Medical Foundation announced on the 5th that it had signed a mutual business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Library Association to operate health lectures and provide medical services.

The signing ceremony held at the conference room of Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital in Gangnam-gu, Seoul was attended by Park Byung-mo, Chairman of Jaseng Medical Foundation, Kwak Seung-jin, President of the Korea Library Association, and key officials from both organizations. The Korea Library Association is a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, representing over 22,000 libraries nationwide, promoting nationwide reading campaigns, library distribution, establishment, and operational guidance.
Through this agreement, both organizations will operate Korean medicine health lecture programs at public libraries nationwide. To this end, Jaseng Medical Foundation will provide infrastructure such as programs and medical staff to libraries in each region that require health lectures, in connection with 21 Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals and Jaseng Korean Medicine Clinics nationwide. The Korea Library Association plans to actively support by recruiting libraries that wish to participate. Jaseng Medical Foundation also plans to take the lead in preventing and treating musculoskeletal disorders for members of the Korea Library Association.
Park Byung-mo, Chairman of Jaseng Medical Foundation, said, "Libraries, which used to just collect books and provide space, are gradually developing into cultural spaces where people can obtain information on health, finance, and more," adding, "I hope that many people will have the opportunity to nurture their mind and body health through Korean medicine health lectures held at libraries."
Meanwhile, Jaseng Medical Foundation dispatches medical staff to senior welfare centers, government and corporate workshops to educate on Korean medicine health management methods for preventing musculoskeletal disorders. For adolescents with developmental vulnerabilities, it operates the 'Child Spine Health Keeper' program.
